So, owner want’s to add little bit more bass in his Chevy Van audiosystem. Despite the very big space inside the van, owner tell us what we need to use this space as few as possible. This is hard question with 3 amps and 2 subs. But nothing can stop us! So we decided try to use the space under rear coach.
After few minutes with measure tape we got first part of amprack. (We use the plywood)
Good. Next step- lower part of amp rack with front walls for subwoofers enclosures
Now we can begin to create amp rack with subwoofer enclosures
Front side wall thickness
Next step- check how the small amplifier will fit between subwoofers
Good!
How about other amplifiers?
Yes, they would be installed behind the subs (first test passed)
Time to reinforce the subwoofers enclosures and vibration damping enclosures walls
Next- check how the amp rack fits under coach?
Ok.
Subwoofers
Amplifier-box will be with rounded corners
This is an upper cover of the box.
This is how the amps will be installed
Looks good. After another few minutes with measure tape and jig saw we got this upper cover.
Ok. Amp rack is almost done. Lets cover it with gray and black carpet (Black carpet will be inside the box)
We really like this amp rack!
Under the coach
Good. Time to install subwoofers and connect amps
Power wires- Stinger 0Ga, 2Ga,4Ga and 8Ga.
Speaker cables- Stinger
RCA- Stinger
Power distributor- Audison Connexxion SFD41C
Power capacitor Stinger 5F
And we done!
Amp rack very good fit under the coach. Customer  happy! đ
